Practice: pick 1, 2 or 3 cushions and press New shot. The straight shot to the black is blocked, and there's no easier route with fewer cushions. Find the kick, then press Reveal (press again to hide). Reveal explains the simplest way to aim: 1 cushion = ghost black behind the cushion; Z shot (two opposite cushions) = flip the cue over the first and the black over the second and join them; otherwise a diamond count: table is 8 × 4 diamonds, the first contact = sideways travel × cue's gap to the cushion ÷ up/down travel (counted as if the table were unfolded), shown with arrows and a red star. More Options shows every route with up to 3 cushions. Reveal also works on your own setups (cue ball to the black). Move / Select: drag balls. Click a line and drag it to slide it parallel. Drag its ends to change it. Click a ball, line or ghost and press Delete to remove it. Draw line: click and drag. Ends snap to the cue ball, your own balls (My balls), the black once it is legal, lines, crossings, pockets, diamonds and the cushion edge. Hold Shift for no snap. Shift-through: click a line, then a ball. A parallel copy runs through the ball centre. Keep clicking balls; Esc to stop. Perpendicular: click a ball, then near a cushion. Draws a square line to the cushion with P at the foot. Mirror ball: click a ball. A ghost goes behind the cushion of its perpendicular (or click a cushion to pick one). Set Aiming Point: click where you want the cue ball to go (it snaps). Drag the blue cross to adjust. When you set an aiming point, lines are hidden so you see only the balls and the cross. Tick Show lines to bring them back (drawing tools bring them back too). Simulate: shows the path to your aiming point straight away. Drag the blue cross and the path follows. Or click a ball, then an aim point. Drag the blue cross to adjust; the path updates live. Uses the Cushions number. View: mouse wheel zooms, right-drag or Space+drag moves the view. Fit all shows ghosts off the table.
The dotted line is the ball-centre line, where the ball's centre is when it touches a cushion. Paths and solutions use it.
